Rehearsals are the first Saturday of the month; choir sings at 9:30 AM Mass the first Sunday of each month.
* Baptismal Preparation Committee
The parish Baptism team is a group of lay persons trained as catechists and mentors to families approaching the parish for the sacrament of Infant Baptism. New members are always welcome to join and they will be trained and supported at every step. Each adult member is free to choose a role on the team that suits him/her: hospitality person, leader of prayer, set up and clean up, conveners, speakers, video facilitators etc. Call the rectory for more information.

St. Vincent de Paul Society

Our Lady Help of Christians' Society of St. Vincent de Paul provides financial, spiritual and pastoral support to anyone in our local community who asks and is truly needy. Requests for help, as well as assistance given, are treated confidentially. Help with food, a medical bill, a utility bill, or rent are some examples of the type of financial assistance we have given. Any one of our members may be contacted for assistance, to alert us of someone you know (including yourself) who may be in need. All assistance is treated confidentially.

Children's  Liturgy of the Word
On most Sundays during the school year we dismiss children from the 9:30 am mass for a special service in the parish hall where they listen to the same gospel with age appropriate language and a short homily.  They rejoin the congregation before Communion.
Social Action & Justice Commission
This active group meets monthly, collects food year round for others, coordinates the Christmas and Easter Giving Tree and plans an annual forum for the parish.  New members welcome!
Choir
Newcomers are always welcome to the Adult Choir.  Rehearsals are Tuesday evenings in the church.  Contact Jim Barkovic for info.    Youth & Children's Choir sings once a month at the 9:30 am mass.  Call the rectory.
Altar Society
Volunteer teams are assigned each week to set up and clean the altar after masses.  This is a wonderful ministry for those short of time.
Flower Ministry
Help is always needed to get flowers, make arrangements and keep them watered!  Even if you have never done an arrangement before, you will be amazed at what is possible.  Teams of volunteers rotate each weekend.
